Chef Jamie Nelson has been inventing new flavors for decades. With over 30 years of industry experience, Jamie showcases his many styles of cooking to push menus around the area with twists on classics.

Jamie started his food journey while working under his uncle, a Classic French Chef, Michele Martinet. Jamie traveled and taste tested his way across Europe, gaining inspiration and new flavors along the way. He has worked in MANY kitchens in the area, including Stowe Mountain Resort, Harrison’s, Blackback Pub, Mes Amis, among others, and worked with the Renowned Italian Chef Antonino Di Ruocco at the Villa Tragara.

Merging his passions for perfectly prepared classics and fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Jamie found a gap in the sauces, dips, and dressings that make his dishes pop! Thus, Sunset Pantry was born. He strives to create delicious sauces with no added preservatives, and locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. Most of the Maple Syrup for the Chipotle Glaze is sourced in Moretown, Vermont, just a few miles away!

He is excitedly experimenting with new concoctions to add to his array of Pantry Staples, so be sure to stay connected with the fun things coming out of his kitchen.
